It’s in this place once predicted as a defensive bastion of Lisbon during the Era of the Restoration, that Ewa Kubik assumes the role of “Major” from the brand 31 d’Armada. Coincidence? Maybe, but it makes perfect sense since she’s herself a woman-in-arms. In the restaurant business for over 20 years, she hired carefully her rank of soldiers, making sure they were highly dedicated professionals but above all passionate about their jobs. It’s under her leadership that in 2018 reborns in Alcântara a modern space honoring the Portuguese culture and history, from which this Polish lady fell in love with, many years ago.
31 d’Armada has to separated rooms, which nevertheless share the same genetic inheritance, interior design, environment and light. Or should we say twins separated at birth? The cusine is only one though, but worth for many. The equipment and the ingredients
are only top quality. There's something unexplainable about the Portuguese gastronomy. There are timeless typical dishes that never run out of fashion such as our Octopus, Cod and Sirloin Steak.
Outside there’s more to see in our gorgeous terrace surrounded by a leafy bougainvillea and the so-called Lord of the Seas, the God Neptune.
